FNB eBucks rewards campaign

• The Kauai monthly eBucks benefit is only available to FNB customers (see card holder details below) and is a new eBucks benefit that has been launched in July 2019.
• This benefit voucher rewards qualifying eBucks members with a monthly complimentary menu item or discount voucher to be redeemed at any participating Kauai store in South Africa.
• To qualify for this benefit voucher, a customer must have spent 100% of their ‘’monthly spend’’ with their FNB/RMB Private Bank Fusion or Credit Card.
• The benefit is for qualifying FNB Gold, Premier, Private Clients, Private Wealth or RMB Private Bank Account holders. Qualifying members who are multi-segmented (for example qualified on both FNB Gold and FNB Premier) will receive the benefit based on their highest qualifying segment and reward level.
• The below-mentioned benefit vouchers can only be redeemed through the FNB/RMB Private Banking App.
• A customer’s benefit voucher is allocated to customers monthly, based on their reward level for that specific month (± 30days).
• Customers will receive their benefit on the same day as their eBucks allocation and their reward level update.
• The reward voucher is only valid for a month until the next eBucks allocation day and does not carry over to the next month.
• A generated QR code or voucher number will be valid for 48 hours.
• If the time passes without a redemption, a customer must generate a new QR code or voucher.  A new code is generated upon each request and can therefore not be saved and redeemed at a later stage.
• The generated FNB eBucks wiCode can be redeemed at any participating Kauai store.
• A customer should present/scan their wiCode voucher at a Kauai POS camera or ask the cashier to manually enter (if applicable) the wiCode indicated on the rewards voucher to receive their reward.
• The validity of the rewards varies and the expiration date is specified on each reward.
  If a benefit reward voucher is unused, it will be forfeited in the following month. FNB and Kauai cannot be held liable for the non-redemption of any benefit voucher due to a customer missing the ‘’cut off’’ date or to systems being down.
• FNB eBucks members on reward levels 1 to 3 may only redeem 1 specified item, as specified in the category breakdown.
• FNB eBucks members on reward levels 4 and 5 may redeem for more than the value of the voucher, but will have to pay in the difference/outstanding amount. The discount voucher redemption is once-off, so if a customer redeems for a lesser value, they will lose the difference in value and will not be able to use the discount voucher again.
• No change will be given if a customer has not used the full discount voucher amount.
• Any additions and substitutions to are charged as per the relevant menu price.
• None of the below-mentioned rewards vouchers can be exchanged for cash.
• If a rewards voucher has been redeemed within a participating Kauai store and a customer wishes to cancel the order after the transaction has gone through, the wiCode will be lost and no longer be available to redeem again.
• The customer would then forfeit the wiCode voucher and no refund would be given.
• Kauai cannot be held liable for the non-redemption of any rewards voucher due to a customer missing the expiry date as indicated on the reward voucher or to a Kauai instore POS system being down due to loadshedding or any other internet connectivity issues.
• The below-mentioned reward vouchers cannot be used with delivery service partners like Uber Eats, Mr D and/or Bolt Food.
• The below-mentioned reward vouchers are only applicable to in-store purchases and cannot be redeemed through the Kauai App.
• Should a customer wish to ‘’Scan for loyalty’’ or ‘’Pay with wallet balance’’ or ‘’Pay in App’’ in the Kauai app, the customer is able to do so.
• The voucher selected in the eBucks section of the FNB/RMB Private Bank app should be presented to a Kauai employee and thereafter a customer can choose to ‘’Scan for loyalty’’ or ‘’Pay with wallet balance’’ or ‘’Pay in App’’ on the Kauai App – if there is still an outstanding amount left on the final bill amount.
• Customers should first redeem their FNB eBucks rewards voucher and only after the discount voucher has been redeemed can a customer ‘’Scan for loyalty’’ on the Kauai App.
• Customer cannot ‘’earn loyalty points’’ through the Kauai App on the FNB eBucks reward voucher.
• The below-mentioned reward vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other partner promotion or voucher.
• The FNB eBucks vouchers can be redeemed at any Kauai retail or Kauai Virgin Active gym store.
• Kauai menu offerings included in this promotion might differ from store to store depending on the store format. Customers should check the menu before attempting to redeem a voucher to avoid disappointment.
• For Kauai stores located within a Virgin Active, customers need to be a Virgin Active Health Club member to gain access to that store.
• FNB eBucks rewards voucher cannot be redeemed at the Kauai American International School, Kauai Parklands College, Kauai Namibia, Kauai Botswana, Kauai Netherlands, Kauai UK or Kauai Thailand.
• Kauai and Virgin Active staff members cannot use their staff discount in conjunction with the FNB eBucks reward benefit voucher – staff members need to decide which benefit they want to use.

• If the total transaction is more than the value of R100, the difference would need to be paid in.
• Customers can only earn loyalty points through the Kauai app on the outstanding amount and not the full transaction value.
• Once the R100 reward voucher has been selected in the eBucks section of the FNB/RMB Private Bank App, the voucher cannot be reversed for another voucher.

VODACOM REWARDS PROGRAMME – TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Kauai rewards vouchers was added to the Vodacom Loyalty rewards programme in July 2020.
• The Kauai rewards vouchers issued with the VodaBucks store, offered in the Vodacom mobile app, is only available to South African customers that have a valid Vodacom SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card.
• All Vodacom clients (prepaid and contract) can register to earn VodaBucks, which they can use to buy an expanded range of products.
• Vodacom customers can access the following rewards options in the VodaBucks store, on the Vodacom mobile app or through the USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) service offered by Vodacom.
• Customers can access the USSD service by dialling *133# with their phone to view the different transactional options.
• For every R10 spent with Vodacom, clients will get one VodaBuck.
• Each VodaBuck earned provides Vodacom customers with a different rewards option in the VodaBucks store, on the Vodacom mobile app.
• Kauai rewards vouchers earned with the Daily Free Unlock, Mega Unlock games and/or purchased with their VodaBucks in the VodaBucks store can be transferred from one customer to another customer (digital in-app or SMS vouchers).
• Customers can redeem up to a maximum of 10 x rewards vouchers per transaction.
• Kauai rewards vouchers can only be redeemed instore, and customers need to be able to present a digital voucher or SMS voucher code when redeeming in a Kauai store.
• The selling and/or buying of Kauai rewards vouchers earned with Vodacom is illegal and should be prohibited.
• Kauai stores will not accept any VodaBucks rewards vouchers that are not presented with a mobile phone; no rewards vouchers can be redeemed that has been written out on paper.
• No Kauai rewards vouchers earned with the Daily Free Unlock, Mega Unlock games, Keys and Treasure Chests, RED VIP R100 voucher and/or purchased with their VodaBucks will be accepted telephonically to redeem in a Kauai store.  The customer must be present inside the store to redeem their voucher(s).
• Kauai rewards vouchers can only be redeemed inside a participating Kauai store as well as participating Kauai stores located inside a Virgin Active gym.
• For Kauai stores located within a Virgin Active, a customer needs to be a Virgin Active Health Club member to gain access to that store located inside a Virgin Active gym.
• Kauai rewards vouchers issued can only be redeemed in a Kauai store if the applicable menu item (as shown on the voucher) is available at the Kauai store that the customer is trying to redeem the voucher at.
• The Kauai menu offering might differ from store to store, depending on the store menu format and layout.
• Specific food/drink Vodacom rewards vouchers cannot be redeemed if the specific food/drink item is not part of a store(s) menu offering. If unsure, please ask the Kauai cashier about a specific food/drink item before trying to redeem a voucher.
• Vodacom rewards vouchers cannot be redeemed at the Kauai American International School, Kauai Parklands College, Kauai Namibia, Kauai Botswana, Kauai Netherlands, Kauai UK or Kauai Thailand stores.
• Kauai Vodacom rewards vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with the Kauai App or any other instore promotion, discount, voucher or delivery service like Uber Eats, Mr D and/or Bolt Food.
• Should a customer want to use their Vodacom rewards voucher (in-app or SMS) and scan their Kauai App to earn loyalty points; the customer can only scan their Kauai App to earn loyalty points after the Vodacom rewards voucher has been redeemed on that specific transaction.
• Each Kauai rewards voucher issued (in-app or SMS), will indicate the relevant menu item, voucher expiry date and a valid wiCode.
• Customers cannot redeem any other menu item, other than what is stated on the Kauai rewards voucher (except if a voucher has been issued with a ‘’rand value’’ discount)
  • For example, a customer cannot redeem a short Americano/Cappuccino when the Kauai voucher issued to them through the Vodacom Rewards Programme states that they have received a 250ml Strawberry Stinger/Peanut Butter Bliss.
  • For a Kauai rewards voucher to redeem, the relevant menu item (as per the issued rewards voucher) should be part of a customer’s order to ensure that the wiCode deducts/discounts this menu item from the final basket amount.
• Any Kauai rewards voucher needs to be redeemed before the voucher expiry date to ensure that a customer does not miss out on the reward.
• Should a customer not redeem their Kauai rewards voucher before the expiry date – the Kauai rewards voucher will be lost.
• Kauai and Vodacom cannot be held liable for the non-redemption of any rewards voucher due to a customer missing the expiry date as indicated on the reward voucher or to a Kauai instore POS system being down due to loadshedding or any other internet connectivity issues.
• Once a rewards voucher has been redeemed, it cannot be used again and it will disappear from the VodaBucks store in the Vodacom mobile app after 24 hours.
• If a Kauai reward voucher has been redeemed within a Kauai store and a customer wishes to cancel their order after the Kauai rewards voucher number has been applied/gone through the instore POS system, the rewards voucher will be lost and no longer be available to redeem again. The customer would then forfeit the Kauai rewards voucher and no refund would be given.
• Kauai rewards vouchers are not redeemable/exchangeable for cash and no change will be given.
• The Kauai rewards vouchers with a ‘’rand value’’ can be used to purchase any menu item inside a Kauai store.
• The total Kauai rewards ‘’rand value’’ voucher will be used as a discount when redeemed in a Kauai store; this voucher can only be used once-off.
• When redeeming a Kauai discount reward voucher, the full voucher amount will be deducted from the final transaction value and no change will be provided if the full amount of the discount was not used on one transaction.
• If the total transaction is more than the value of the Kauai discount voucher, the difference would need to be paid in by the customer.
• Kauai and Virgin Active staff cannot redeem Vodacom rewards vouchers in conjunction with their allocated staff discounts.
• Kauai menu imagery included in Vodacom rewards vouchers to be used for visual representation, actual product redeemed in store might differ.

WAYS TO REDEEM A KAUAI REWARDS VOUCHER

OPTION 1:

Customers that have downloaded the Vodacom App to transact in the VodaBucks app to earn Kauai rewards vouchers.

• A customer can play a Daily Free Unlock Game / Mega Unlock Game / Keys and Treasure Chest / purchase a Kauai voucher from the VodaBucks store in the Vodacom app.
• To redeem the voucher, a customer will:
  • Receive a SMS with a digital wiCode that needs to be manually insert into POS in order for the voucher to redeem.

OR

• Select ‘’Rewards History’’ in the VodaBucks store, then select ‘’Show vouchers only’’ and the valid Kauai voucher will be available to select. Once the customer has selected the voucher, it will open up a wiCode that can be scanned at the till to redeem the voucher.

OPTION 2:

Customers that do not have the Vodacom App, can still transact and earn Kauai rewards using the USSD functionality under the Vodacom rewards campaign.

• A customer can play a Daily Free Unlock Game / Mega Unlock Game / Keys and Treasure Chest / purchase a Kauai voucher from the VodaBucks store in the USSD functionality.
• Customers can do this by dialling *133# on their phone to view the different in-app menu options (only available if they have a valid Vodacom cell number).
• To redeem the voucher, the customer will:

• • Receive a SMS with a digital wiCode that needs to be manually insert into POS in order for the voucher to redeem.

VOUCHER SPECIFIC TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Get a free 250ml/350ml smoothie when you buy any wrap.

• With rewards vouchers whereby a customer can buy any wrap and get a ‘’free’’ 250ml/350ml smoothie – customers can only order a standard wrap menu item in order to get the ‘’free’’ 250/350ml smoothie. No Protein Add Ons or Swap outs are allowed on these rewards offer.
• Customers would need to inform a Kauai cashier upfront which standard menu wrap menu item and which ‘’free’’ 250ml/350ml smoothie item they qualify for in order to ring up the correct items.
• Any add ons to food or drink items will be charged for additionally at the normal instore menu price.

Earn Discovery Miles and a play to pick a tile on the gameboard

• Every time you achieve a goal, you earn a play on the gameboard the following Wednesday. When you play the gameboard, you pick a tile which reveals hidden Discovery Miles. You can spend Discovery Miles on a range of rewards.
• Your play will be issued the following Rewards Wednesday, after reaching your goal, and will be available by the end of the day.
• You have until midnight on the Tuesday after your play was issued to use your play and earn Discovery Miles.

What is Avis SafeDrive?

Avis SafeDrive is a partnership between Avis and Discovery Insure which introduces Vitalitydrive as a stand-along product to the car rental industry.  The Discovery Insure Sensor and customer’s app will monitor a customer’s driving behaviour and update a customer through the SafeDrive app.  Avis Safe Drive is a smartphone app available on Android and IOS.

Avis SafeDrive is aimed at customers who are conscious about their safety and customers who drive well will be rewarded daily, based on 5 different reward tiers depending on their driving score. What is Avis SafeDrive?

Avis SafeDrive is a partnership between Avis and Discovery Insure which introduces Vitalitydrive as a stand-along product to the car rental industry.  The Discovery Insure Sensor and customer’s app will monitor a customer’s driving behaviour and update a customer through the SafeDrive app.  Avis Safe Drive is a smartphone app available on Android and IOS.

Avis SafeDrive is aimed at customers who are conscious about their safety and customers who drive well will be rewarded daily, based on 5 different reward tiers depending on their driving score. 1.   The “Welcome Back with 20% off” promotion in the KAUAI ® App is valid from 27 August to 30 September 2020

2.   The promotion includes 20% off purchases made through the KAUAI ® App which is a limited, exclusive promotion only available with the KAUAI ® App

3.   All customers that purchase through the KAUAI ® App, during the promotional period, qualify for the reward of 20% off their total purchase value

4.   For every purchase through the KAUAI ® App you receive 20% off your purchase

5.   The promotion is limited to 1 purchase per day and only available for transactions made via the KAUAI ® App

6.   The promotion runs from 27 August 2020 to 30 September 2020. The promotion expires at midnight on 30 September

7.  The promotion is valid for 35 days only

10.2   In order to receive the 20% discount for pick up orders placed via the KAUAI ® App, a customer must place their order by selecting “Order” on the Home screen, select “Pick-up” and complete the order process. The 20% discount will be automatically redeemed at checkout when payment is complete

10.3   In order to receive the 20% discount for Kauai owned delivery placed via the KAUAI ® App, a customer must place their order by selecting “Order” on the Home screen, select “Delivery” and complete the order process. The 20% discount will be automatically redeemed at checkout when payment is complete

11.   The promotion will be available in the ‘’Kauai Vouchers’ section of the app for the duration of the campaign period

12.   The promotion can only be redeemed once per day per customer. The 20% discount will be applied to the first purchase of the day made via the KAUAI ® App

13.   The promotion can be redeemed at any Kauai store in South Africa, except Schools and the Kauai Fresh Truck

14.   The promotion cannot be redeemed at a Kauai store in Namibia or Botswana, should a customer be travelling over the South African border

15.   The promotion cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or any other menu item.

16.   The promotion cannot be redeemed with delivery services like Uber Eats and Mr D Food however, the promotion can be redeemed with Kauai’s own delivery orders placed via the KAUAI ® App which is available at selected stores only. The 20% discount does not apply to the KAUAI ® App delivery fee

17.   Kauai Loyalty points & cash back (2%) will only be earned on the total transaction amount after the discount is applied. This is the amount charged to the customer on their card in the app or taken off their wallet balance

18.   Kauai (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to withdraw the promotion at any time without prior notification

19.   Kauai (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to limit the promotion’s availability if reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent use or misconduct is found

Vitality Kids Nutrition August campaign and competition terms and conditions

1. The Promoters of the Discovery Vitality Kids Campaign and Competition is Discovery Vitality (Pty) Limited (“Discovery Vitality”), Kauai Juice (Pty) Limited (‘’Kauai’’) and HealthyFood Studio.

2.1 All children that participate in the Kids Campaign Nutrition challenge, will receive a FREE small (350ml) smoothie from Kauai.

2.2 In addition, 2 (two) Discovery Vitality main members that participate in the Kids Campaign Nutrition challenge competition stand a chance of winning 1 (one) of 2 (two) virtual kids cooking classes with the HealthyFood Studio valued at R1 000 (one thousand Rand) for their child and 4 (four) friends, plus each participant will receive a R500 (five hundred Rand) Woolworths voucher that can be used to purchase the necessary ingredients for the cooking class.

3. The campaign and competition period will run from August 4^th to midnight on August 31^st.
4. All participants need to be a child dependent between ages 2 -14 on a Vitality policy in order to be eligible to receive a FREE small (350ml) smoothie from Kauai. The child’s parents/guardians who is a main member will be entering the campaign and competition on behalf of the child.
5. Participants in the campaign and competition are required to reside in South Africa.
6. The following requirements must be completed by the main member to be successfully entered into the campaign and competition:

6.1. Complete the VRE registration form as proof of completion of the Kids Campaign Nutrition challenge.

6.2  Select the child that participated in the Kids Campaign Nutrition challenge (main members will need to fill out the VRE registration form for every child that participated).

• Log in to your Vitality profile on the Discovery website or app.
• Go to ‘Event name description’ and type in ‘Kids Challenge Reward & Comp’.
• Select the date, August.
• Click on ‘Race type’ and from the drop-down menu select the event name, ‘Kids Challenge Reward & Comp’.
• Under ‘Member’s race number’, type in your child’s ID or passport number.
• Click on ‘Distance’ and from the drop-down menu select the event name. ‘Kids Challenge Reward & Comp’
• Under the ‘Time’ section, please fill in both time fields. For example: type in ’01hours 00mins‘.
• Upload proof that your child completed the challenge. Proof can be a photo showing the meal cooked by your child, , the family enjoying the meal you cooked or your child cooking in the kitchen.
• Enter the website address where the event was hosted. (In this case you can use discovery.co.za/vitality/kids-campaign-august-2020 or the link of any one of the social media posts for this campaign)
• If you do not want to be included in our prize draw competition to stand the chance to win 1 of 2 virtual kids cooking classes with a HealthyFood Studio chef plus a R500 voucher each from Woolworths to buy all the ingredients for you and 4 friends, select Kids Nutrition Challenge in all the VRE fields. Your child with still receive a free small (350ml) smoothie from Kauai.

7. Only one entry over the campaign and competition period per child will be allowed.

8.1 After the closing date, Discovery Vitality will pull all qualifying and relevant data from the campaign after which Discovery Vitality will sms every main member a WiCode for a FREE small (350ml) smoothie for kids that can be redeemed at Kauai;

• Each reward that is selected can only be redeemed at a Kauai store and can only be redeemed once.
• Customers can choose between any small smoothie to redeem the reward (Smoothies/Protein Smoothies/ Superfood Smoothies).
• Any add ons or substitutions to be charged for at normal menu price.
• This reward is non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, duplicated or sold.
• The validity of the reward will be 3 weeks from date of issue.
• It cannot be used in conjunction with any other instore promotion, discount or voucher other than the “Add a Meal” promotion.
• The reward can only be redeemed in a Kauai store and cannot be redeemed with online orders on the Kauai app or any delivery partners.
• This reward can be redeemed at selected Kauai stores.
• If a Kauai rewards voucher is redeemed at any Kauai store and a customer decides to cancel the order after the transaction has gone through, the QR code will be lost and no longer be available to redeem again

8.2 Any personal data relating to the participants will be used in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 04 of 2013 (“POPI”).

8.3 Data pulled for the purposes of the campaign and competition will be based on the completion and submission of proof of the Kids Campaign Nutrition challenge as stated in the steps above. No data will be shared by Discovery Vitality with Kauai or any third party whatsoever.

8.4 In terms of POPI, participants have the right to object in the prescribed manner to the processing of their personal data for purposes of this competition. Participants who wish to object to the processing of their personal data for purposes of this competition select Kids Nutrition Challenge in all the VRE fields. Your child with still receive a free small (350ml) smoothie from Kauai.

9.1 After the closing date, Discovery Vitality will pull all qualifying and relevant data from the campaign after which Discovery Vitality will sms every main member a WiCode for a FREE small (350ml) smoothie that can be redeemed at selected Kauai stores,

9.2 Discovery Vitality will conduct a random draw for the competition in order to select the 2 (two) winners of the virtual kids cooking classes with the HealthyFood Studio valued at R1000 (one  thousand Rand) each, plus a R500 Woolworths voucher for themselves and their 4 (four) friends.

10. The main member of the policy will be contacted as 1 (one) of 2 (two) winners by 09 September 2020 by either telephone, email or both. With their written consent, the winners may be required to appear and be identified in the October edition of the Vitality newsletter or on the Vitality Facebook page at no fee to them. The prize winner can decline the option of appearing or being mentioned in the newsletter or the Vitality Facebook page and will not forfeit the prize should they elect to do so.
11. Discovery Vitality will attempt to contact each of the winners by email and phone. Should the prize not be claimed within 2 (two) months the prizes will be forfeited and a new winner chosen.
12. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash and/or transferred.
13. Discovery Vitality retains full discretion to choose the winners. The decision is final and cannot be contested.
14. The promoter/s reserve the right to alter or terminate the campaign and competition at its discretion. In the event of such alteration or termination, all participants shall waive any rights which they may have against the promoter/s, their affiliates or associated companies and acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature against the promoters. Prior notice will be given to the participants in the event of such alteration or termination
15. Directors, partners, employees, agents of, consultants or any other similarly connected individuals of Discovery Vitality and Discovery Group of companies, Kauai and HealthyFood Studio are not eligible to enter the competition for the HealthyFood Studio prize.
16. 16. Discovery Vitality and Discovery Group of companies, Kauai and HealthyFood Studio will not be held responsible for any misrepresentation caused due to an unintentional copy error, typing error or omission that may occur on any of our promotional material and communications.
17. By participating in this campaign and competition all participants agree to be bound by these rules and the Vitality Main Rules.
18. 18. To the extent that Discovery Vitality collects and processes the participants personal information, Discovery Vitality warrants that such processing shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 and shall not be disclosed to any third party without the participants written consent.

18.1 In terms of POPI, participants have the right to object in the prescribed manner to the processing of their personal data for purposes of this competition. Participants who wish to object to the processing of their personal data for purposes of this competition may email their Vitality membership number and the date range of the campaign to

19. By selecting to participate in the campaign and competition, You accept the terms and conditions governing your participation and indemnify Discovery Vitality, its holding company, subsidiaries, any of its affiliated and/or constituent bodies, and directorates and or/or any representative, employee, servant or agent of the a foregoing bodies or persons against any claim whatsoever and howsoever arising which may be made against them or any of them by any person and/or against any liability which may be incurred by you and/or any damage arising directly or indirectly out of any act or omission of any nature whatsoever, whether negligent or otherwise (including gross negligence), on our part.
20. By entering this campaign and competition, you warrant that the relevant medical checks have been completed and that there are no medical restrictions to your child’s participation in the campaign and competition.
