FNB eBucks rewards campaign
- The Kauai monthly eBucks benefit is only available to FNB customers (see card holder details below) and is a new eBucks benefit that has been launched in July 2019.
- This benefit voucher rewards qualifying eBucks members with a monthly complimentary menu item or discount voucher to be redeemed at any participating Kauai store in South Africa.
- To qualify for this benefit voucher, a customer must have spent 100% of their ‘’monthly spend’’ with their FNB/RMB Private Bank Fusion or Credit Card.
- The benefit is for qualifying FNB Gold, Premier, Private Clients, Private Wealth or RMB Private Bank Account holders. Qualifying members who are multi-segmented (for example qualified on both FNB Gold and FNB Premier) will receive the benefit based on their highest qualifying segment and reward level.
- The below-mentioned benefit vouchers can only be redeemed through the FNB/RMB Private Banking App.
- A customer’s benefit voucher is allocated to customers monthly, based on their reward level for that specific month (± 30days).
- Customers will receive their benefit on the same day as their eBucks allocation and their reward level update.
- The reward voucher is only valid for a month until the next eBucks allocation day and does not carry over to the next month.
- A generated QR code or voucher number will be valid for 48 hours.
- If the time passes without a redemption, a customer must generate a new QR code or voucher. A new code is generated upon each request and can therefore not be saved and redeemed at a later stage.
- The generated FNB eBucks wiCode can be redeemed at any participating Kauai store.
- A customer should present/scan their wiCode voucher at a Kauai POS camera or ask the cashier to manually enter (if applicable) the wiCode indicated on the rewards voucher to receive their reward.
- The validity of the rewards varies and the expiration date is specified on each reward.
If a benefit reward voucher is unused, it will be forfeited in the following month. FNB and Kauai cannot be held liable for the non-redemption of any benefit voucher due to a customer missing the ‘’cut off’’ date or to systems being down. - FNB eBucks members on reward levels 1 to 3 may only redeem 1 specified item, as specified in the category breakdown.
- FNB eBucks members on reward levels 4 and 5 may redeem for more than the value of the voucher, but will have to pay in the difference/outstanding amount. The discount voucher redemption is once-off, so if a customer redeems for a lesser value, they will lose the difference in value and will not be able to use the discount voucher again.
- No change will be given if a customer has not used the full discount voucher amount.
- Any additions and substitutions to are charged as per the relevant menu price.
- None of the below-mentioned rewards vouchers can be exchanged for cash.
- If a rewards voucher has been redeemed within a participating Kauai store and a customer wishes to cancel the order after the transaction has gone through, the wiCode will be lost and no longer be available to redeem again.
- The customer would then forfeit the wiCode voucher and no refund would be given.
- Kauai cannot be held liable for the non-redemption of any rewards voucher due to a customer missing the expiry date as indicated on the reward voucher or to a Kauai instore POS system being down due to loadshedding or any other internet connectivity issues.
- The below-mentioned reward vouchers cannot be used with delivery service partners like Uber Eats and Mr D.
- The below-mentioned reward vouchers are only applicable to in-store purchases and cannot be redeemed through the Kauai App.
- Should a customer wish to ‘’Scan for loyalty’’ or ‘’Pay with wallet balance’’ or ‘’Pay in App’’ in the Kauai app, the customer is able to do so.
- The voucher selected in the eBucks section of the FNB/RMB Private Bank app should be presented to a Kauai employee and thereafter a customer can choose to ‘’Scan for loyalty’’ or ‘’Pay with wallet balance’’ or ‘’Pay in App’’ on the Kauai App – if there is still an outstanding amount left on the final bill amount.
- Customers should first redeem their FNB eBucks rewards voucher and only after the discount voucher has been redeemed can a customer ‘’Scan for loyalty’’ on the Kauai App.
- Customer cannot ‘’earn loyalty points’’ through the Kauai App on the FNB eBucks reward voucher.
- The below-mentioned reward vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other partner promotion or voucher.
- The FNB eBucks vouchers can be redeemed at any Kauai retail or Kauai Virgin Active gym store.
- Kauai menu offerings included in this promotion might differ from store to store depending on the store format. Customers should check the menu before attempting to redeem a voucher to avoid disappointment.
- For Kauai stores located within a Virgin Active, customers need to be a Virgin Active Health Club member to gain access to that store.
- FNB eBucks rewards voucher cannot be redeemed at the Kauai American International School of Cape Town, Kauai Parklands College or stores located outside of South Africa. These stores include Kauai Namibia, Kauai Botswana, Kauai Netherlands, Kauai UK, Kauai Thailand, Kauai Australia and Kauai Italy.
- Kauai and Virgin Active staff members cannot use their staff discount in conjunction with the FNB eBucks reward benefit voucher – staff members need to decide which benefit they want to use.
- The Kauai menu offering included in this promotion might be adjusted based on the seasonality of products and menu changes required.

Redeem R100 voucher on any item on the menu.
- The R100 reward voucher issued through the FNB eBucks campaign can be used on any menu item(s) purchased at a Kauai store.
- When redeeming the R100 reward voucher, the full voucher amount will be deducted from the final transaction value and no change will be provided if the full amount of R100 was not used per transaction.
- If the total transaction is more than the value of R100, the difference would need to be paid in.
- Customers can only earn loyalty points through the Kauai App on the outstanding amount and not the full transaction value.
- Once the R100 reward voucher has been selected in the eBucks section of the FNB/RMB Private Bank App, the voucher cannot be reversed for another voucher.
- Once the R100 voucher has been processed, the transaction cannot be reversed and the R100 voucher will be redeemed.
- Any additions and substitutions will be charged for as per the normal menu price.
Redeem R120 voucher on any item on the menu.
- The R120 reward voucher issued through the FNB eBucks campaign can be used on any menu item(s) purchased at a Kauai store.
- When redeeming the R120 reward voucher, the full voucher amount will be deducted from the final transaction value and no change will be provided if the full amount of R120 was not used per transaction.
