VODACOM APP REWARDS PROGRAMME

• The Kauai coupon issued as part of the Vodabucks Rewards Programme, available through the Vodapay App and USSD, is only available to South African customers that have a valid Vodacom SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card.
• All Vodacom customers (prepaid, contract and hybrid) are required to opt into the Vodabucks programme to earn VodaBucks, when settling a bill, purchasing airtime or data, and playing Daily Play, or completing Achiever Goals, which they can use to buy an expanded range of offers on the Vodastore, or Spend their Vodabucks In store
• Vodacom customers can access the following options in the Vodabucks store and Daily Play, and Achiever Goals, through the Vodapay App and Daily Play through USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) service offered by Vodacom.
• Customers can access the Daily Play option through USSD by dialling *133#.
• For every R10 spent with Vodacom, clients will get one VodaBuck.
• Vodabucks are required to be banked every Friday, before they expire, once banked customers can burn their Vodabucks in the Vodastore or Spend in Store through the Vodapay App
• Kauai coupons earned through Daily Play, Achiever Goals and/or purchased with VodaBucks in the Vodastore store cannot be transferred from one customer to another customer (digital in-app or SMS coupon).
• Kauai coupons can only be redeemed instore. Customers are required to present a valid WiCode or QR code on redemption.
• The selling and/or buying of Kauai coupons earned through the Vodacom programme is prohibited.
• Kauai stores will not accept any WiCodes that are not presented as an SMS or QR code; no coupons will be redeemed that has been written out on paper.
• No Kauai coupons earned through any Vodacom channel will be permitted to be redeemed telephonically.  Customers are required to redeem coupons instore.
• Kauai coupons can only be redeemed inside a participating Kauai store as well as participating Kauai stores located inside a Virgin Active gym.
• For Kauai stores located within a Virgin Active, a customer needs to be a Virgin Active Health Club member to gain access to that store located inside a Virgin Active gym.
• Redemption of Kauai coupons need to match the description on the reward received and cannot be swopped for something else on the menu.
• The Kauai menu offering might differ from store to store, depending on the store menu format and layout.
• A specific food/drink item cannot be redeemed if the specific food/drink item is not part of a store(s) menu offering.
• Customers are required to review the menu before attempting to redeem a coupon to avoid disappointment if the relevant menu item is not available at a specific store.
• Vodacom coupons cannot be redeemed at the Kauai American International School of Cape Town, Kauai Parklands College and/or any stores located outside South Africa. These stores include Kauai Namibia, Kauai Botswana, Kauai UK, Kauai Thailand, Kauai Australia or Kauai Italy stores.
• Kauai and Vodacom reward coupons cannot be redeemed in conjunction with the Kauai App or any other instore promotion, discount, partner coupons or delivery service like Uber Eats or Mr D in the same transaction.
• Vodacom customers can redeem up to a maximum of 4 x Kauai coupons per basket.
• Should a customer want to use their Vodacom coupon (in-app or SMS) and scan their Kauai App to earn loyalty points; the customer can only scan their Kauai App to earn loyalty points after the Vodacom coupon has been redeemed on that specific transaction.
• Each Kauai coupon issued (in-app or SMS), will indicate the relevant menu item, coupon expiry date and a valid wiCode.
• Customers cannot redeem any other menu item, other than what is stated on the Kauai coupon (except if a coupon has been issued with a ‘’rand value’’ discount)
  • For example, a customer cannot redeem a short Americano/Cappuccino when the Kauai coupon issued to them through the Vodacom Programme states that they have received a 250ml Strawberry Stinger/Peanut Butter Bliss.
• For a Kauai coupon to redeem, the relevant menu item (as per the issued coupon) should be part of a customer’s order to ensure that the wiCode deducts/discounts this menu item from the final basket amount.
• Any Kauai coupon needs to be redeemed before the coupon expiry date to ensure that a customer does not miss out on the reward.
• Should a customer not redeem their Kauai coupon before the expiry date – the coupon will be forfeited.
• Kauai and Vodacom cannot be held liable for the non-redemption of any coupon due to a customer missing the expiry date as indicated on the reward coupon or to a Kauai instore POS system being down due to loadshedding or any other internet connectivity issues.
• Once a Kauai coupon has been redeemed, it cannot be used again and it will disappear from the VodaBucks store in the Vodacom mobile app after 24 hours.
• If a Kauai coupon has been redeemed within a Kauai store and a customer wishes to cancel their order after the Kauai coupon number has been applied/gone through the instore POS system, the coupon will be lost and no longer be available to redeem again. The customer would then forfeit the Kauai coupon and no refund would be given.
• Kauai coupons are not redeemable/exchangeable for cash and no change will be given.
• The Kauai coupons with a ‘’rand value’’ can be used to purchase any menu item inside a Kauai store.
• The total Kauai ‘’rand value’’ coupon will be used as a discount when redeemed in a Kauai store; this coupon can only be used once-off.
• When redeeming a Kauai discount reward coupon, the full coupon amount will be deducted from the final transaction value and no change will be provided if the full amount of the discount was not used on one transaction.
• If the total transaction amount is more than the value of the Kauai discount coupon, the difference would need to be paid in by the customer.
• Kauai and Virgin Active staff cannot redeem Vodacom coupons in conjunction with their allocated staff discounts.
• Kauai menu imagery included in Vodacom coupons to be used for visual representation, actual product redeemed in store might differ.

Vodastore

• Vodacom customers can earn VodaBucks for purchasing airtime, data or completing goals.
• Customer are required to bank their Vodabucks, before Friday at 00:00 each week, before being allowed to spend them in the Vodastore are required their VodaBucks to be able to buy coupons.

Spend and Earn in Store

• Kauai is a participating Spend and Earn partner
• Vodacom customers can spend their banked Vodabucks to purchase Kauai spend in Kauai stores
• Vodacom customers will access the Spend in Store functionality, exclusively on the Vodapay App
• Vodacom Customers will be allowed to create a wiCode/QR code for the value of their purchase, and their banked Vodabucks
• Vodacom customers will earn Vodabucks back based on the Vodabucks Value spent in store
• Note For any ‘’Rand value’’ coupons purchased in the VodaBucks store, please note the following:
  • When redeeming a Rand value coupon, the full coupon amount will be deducted from the final transaction value and no change will be provided if the full amount was not used per transaction.
  • If the total transaction is more than the value of Rand value coupon purchased, the difference would need to be paid in by a customer.
  • Once the Rand value coupon has been selected, the coupon cannot be reversed for another coupon or value.
  • Once the Rand value coupon has been processed, the transaction cannot be reversed and the Rand value coupon will be redeemed.
  • Any additions and substitutions will be charged for as per the normal menu price.
  • Customers can only earn loyalty points through the Kauai App on the outstanding amount and not the full transaction value.

RED VIP R100 Coupon:

• An exclusive offer to Vodacom RED VIP customers.
• The R100 rand value coupon can be used to purchase any menu item inside a Kauai store.
• This is a once-off coupon to be used and no change will be provided if the full amount has not been redeemed on one transaction.
• When redeeming a ‘’rand value’’ coupon, the full coupon amount will be deducted.
• If the total transaction amount is more than the ‘’rand value’’ stipulated on the coupon, the difference would need to be paid in by the customer.

COUPON SPECIFIC TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Get a free 250ml/350ml smoothie when you buy any wrap.

• With coupons whereby a customer can buy any wrap and get a ‘’free’’ 250ml/350ml smoothie – customers can only order a standard wrap menu item to get the ‘’free’’ 250ml/350ml smoothie. No Protein Add Ons or Swap outs are allowed on these vouchers.
• Customers would need to inform a Kauai cashier upfront which standard menu wrap menu item and which ‘’free’’ 250ml/350ml smoothie item they qualify for in order to ring up the correct items.
• Any add ons to food or drink items will be charged for additionally at the normal instore menu price.
• See below list of ‘’standard wrap menu items’’ included as well as ”250ml Smoothies”. Should the incorrect menu items be added to a basket, the coupon will not pull through correctly and not discount the ‘’250ml/350ml smoothie’’ as per the coupon as ‘’free’’.
